Voorwaarden

General

 

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Double Dutch BV. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Netherlands. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

'By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions'. Or All transactions with Double Duth BV will be governed by these terms and conditions. All references to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' will refer to the Peak UK Kayaking Co Ltd. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company.

Prices

All prices are shown in euros (€) and are inclusive of Dutch VAT (BTW) at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders

We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone, post, fax. Orders can be paid by bank transfer only. Orders will be processed after full payment of the invoice. 

Delivery

Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible. Delivery costs for EU shipments are set at € 15, excluding kayaks. Delivery costs outside the EU are set at €25, excluding kayaks.  

For kayak purchases, you will be quoted a delivery charge before we ship your order. For overseas orders delivery charges ( if any ) will be quoted by email before shipping. Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Returns and Exchanges

We hope that you are entirely satisfied with every purchase made from the Double Dutch bv and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please contact us by email or telephone within 28 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt. If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, again please contact us by email or telephone giving details of the fault and then send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible and your receipt. We will exchange the item or refund the full value. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.

Products

Products are sold singly unless otherwise. Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

Guarantee

All products offered are guaranteed for a period of twelve months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original receipt to:

Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention.

Pricing and Print Errors

Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of the Double Dutch bv until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers the Double Dutch bv and its Web sites.

You can browse our site(s) without disclosing any personal data to us.

We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals. Cookies are placed / collected to monitor visits but not used to store personal data. We will collect and store information about you to allow us to firstly, process and fulfill any order requirements and secondly to provide you with the best possible service. We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whist using our services, e.g.(registration, placing an order or requesting a catalogue).

We will use the data for our own marketing purposes, including market research and to keep you up to date with any offers or information regarding our company and it¹s activities.

Individuals registering their details may do so on the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data. They will be sent further information / communication via email only. Information about you will not be shared or transferred to any third party.

We are fully committed to providing full security both through our on-line and mail order service. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe for all sales transactions with us. All information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties.
